You can now enable session recordings on your form sessions using Zuko. This simple guide shows you how.
If yes, jump to the setup guide below. If not, go to the Session Replay page and follow the advice there to add it.
You can add a small piece of code to your form tracking installation to start collecting recordings of your visitors' interactions. Go to your form’s Settings ⚙️-> Tracking Code tab and here you will find the Replay Code.
The Replay Code can be added to the same place as your Activity Code, this will either be:
Note: the Replay Code will record interactions on the whole page, whereas the Activity Code tracks only the target specified.
Once you start recording sessions you will be able see the wider behaviour of visitors when on your form’s page, not just the field-level analytics. Please share with us anything interesting or unusual that you observe in your recordings as we continue to advance our form session replay feature.
In the network tab you will be able to see recording events being sent to Zuko.
Zuko will automatically anonymise and block the visualisation of any standard form element (such as text box inputs). However, should you wish to prevent the recording of any other elements in the form journey (for example, if you include a summary page with personal details), you can do by adding additional masking code. You can find details on how to add that code here.
